Final preparations are underway for an event that will bring together academics for a week of focused work and reflection on the legacy of the three-year EPP project.
Next week at a special event in Devon, England, participants from across the EPP network will gather for a workshop focused on research funding applications and proposal development.
The event will help define the lasting insights from research conducted by the group, and consider the opportunities to build upon the findings with future collaboration.
Throughout the week, the focus will shift toward refining ideas, drafting applications, and offering peer feedback in small groups.
“This event is designed to offer both focused academic work and a chance to step back and reflect on what has been a very busy few years”, said Professor Kelsey Shanks, EPP Co-founder.
“We want to find some agreement on the legacy of the project and how the work already undertaken can serve as fertile ground for future researchers to build upon.”
The event will be followed by a meeting of a Syrian academic working group that has formed among EPP researchers. The group will discuss the much-changed geo-political situation in the country and the impact on education.
